This is my second Frigidaire 2.2 CuFt builtin microwave my other one was eight years old the light went out and noticed I was having longer cook times. No real problems but wanted a new one. I would definitely recommend this micowave.

Great microwave. Finally found one that is big enough to fit a diner plate with food and still put a paper towel or cover over and not hit the sides when spinning while cooking. Hard to find a large wall style built in like this. Also has great features like a quick button to melt or soften things like butter, that actually works perfectly!! Could not ask for a better product

Remodeling Kitchen and Installing a New Microwave

While remodeling the kitchen we added a built in microwave from Frigidaire. It was a nice touch because the microwave was larger then the one we had. The instructions for installing were great and easy to read. We also added the trim kit that complemented our new cabinets beautifully! The microwave has a safety feature so the door doesn't open automatically if you have youg children. Very nice product!

Came with a bent front door and panel. Box and styrofoam were intact so it must have happened before it was boxes. Trim kit came bent as well. Customer service refused to help.

We love this microwave - better looking, larger, quieter, just as quick even though it's lower power (1100) than our previous unit. My only complaint is that it lacks a simple way to "keep warm", one of our most used features. Instead, you have to hit power level, "1", start, enter length of time, start.

Ongoing problems with warranty company, repair techs, and now same problems with replacement oven

Writing this on April 22, 2025 after buying the microwave at end of January 2025. The first oven would 'beep' at random times throughout the day/night. Called Electrolux warranty company and was told my microwave is registered to someone else already. After arguing with them for over an hour that I really have the oven in front of me and bought it, they reluctantly agreed to set up a new user profile for my model/serial number and honor the warranty. I think they sold me a returned oven that was still in the warranty registry with the original owner - how else could this happen? Warranty tech enventually came out and looked at oven and recommended control panel be replaced. Waited weeks and heard nothing back from tech or Electrolux warranty reps. Called Electrolux and was told new control panel on back order and new replacement microwave would be delivered instead. Received replacement microwave and first day it made a loud vibrating noise when operated and again, control panel produces random beeps throughout the day. Called Electrolux and was told warranty tech would have a look. Warranty tech came and listened to my explanation, and placed a piece of foam inside the oven to stop vibrating noise. He didn't address the random beeping. So random beeping continued and called Electrolux again. They deployed repair tech who looked at microwave and said he'd report back to Electrolux. Heard nothing for three weeks. Called warranty tech company and was told work order was closed as there is nothing wrong with the microwave (random beeping continues). After trying to explain to local warranty tech company they recommeded I make a video of the issue. Explained that the beeps occur at random times, 9 - 10 times per day, and would not be able to video this. They were unconcerned and reiterated their position that there's no problem with the oven. Called Electrolux and explained situation again. They said only thing they could do is send warranty tech again. His visit is scheduled for this afternoon (now three months after purchase still don't have properly working oven). Likely they will tell me there is no problem with the microwave. I won't accept that response. Google search on 'problem with random beeps from control panel Frigidaire microwave' and you'll get results that say many people are experiencing the issue. Seems to me they have a bad batch of control panels or a design flaw in the oven/electronics and don't want to own up to it. I would rate this oven and Frigidaire at 'zero' if possible.

Bought this microwave to match the rest of my Frigidaire gallery appliance set when we finished our kitchen build. Have only had it 2 years, and it is throwing sparks inside the microwave at the plate on the side! Leaves burn marks and smokes. Dangerous, and far too pricey to have broken so soon! Hate to not have a matching set, but seriously considering going with a different brand now that I have to buy a new one. Company should back their product and replace due to it breaking so soon!

Zero stars. Total junk - run from this product. Installed as part of kitchen remodel. Barely got 3 years out of it before it started blowing up - literally. $200 service call before even knowing if a repair is possible and/or practical; no thank you. And don™€™t waste your time trying customer service: we were on hold for 35 minutes before they simply and unceremoniously hung up. They don™€™t care and they™€™re not even pretending to. Better to take a chance on a cheap brand.

I installed this microwave with the trim kit. I have only been using it for about a week, but I™€™m really happy with it so far. It heats evenly and is easy to use. While the trim kit looks nice, I do think it was a bit pricey for what it is. But I™€™m happy with it overall.

When our old microwave died, we bought another one with the same dimensions from the same manufacturer. Unfortunately there had been a modification to the bottom so the trim package didn™€™t fit and there was no trim package for the new model.We searched the dimensions and found the Frigidaire with a trim package. My husband installed it and it looks great and works fantastic.
