We love this dryer! My only complaint is that I can not turn off the end of cycle signal, and it's loud and wakes my baby. So if anyone can tell me how to turn that off then it would be the perfect fit for us!

The dryer makes an annoying loud noise... metal on metal grinding. I already scheduled for GE repair. The technician told me it is a known issue with the drum not being on track. The dryer still makes noise especially with larger load. I have to contact GE again. .

After the fourth load of laundry that I dried in this dryer it started making a horrible squeaking sound!! A repairman had to be called out , the dryer was put together right a line something make it a little less noise. Repair man had to come back and order a part. Only had dryer for two weeks.

This dryer is great for a 1person w. 3 kitty-kids home and household ! Not too big, yet big enough, lint trap works great & is in a spot where I like it. (don't like the traps on top). Good price. (of course it works great, it's brand new.)

I bought this machine hoping it would just do the job, and it does. It doesn't look fancy, and it isn't fancy. But it dries the clothes, and dries it well. I've had energy efficient dryers at twice the price that barely dry your clothes. This thing does the job. My only complaint is that the alarm that let's you know it's done is SUPER loud and annoying. At some point I'm going to disable it.

I appreciate the simplicity of this machine. It has three choices only but it dries my laundry within one cycle depending on the load. However, I am surprised that despite the previous reviews regarding the loud buzzer, GE has not rectified the issue. The buzzer is very loud which scares my dog and me! The first time I heard it, I thought it was a fog horn. For the price I paid, I expected a much improved buzzer. GE, you could have done better.

My townhome has a "nook" in the second floor bathroom that only allows for a specific dimension for the washer and dryer. This model fit the bill. (gas dryer) I removed 20 year old Frigidaire Crown series units. The dryer is slightly louder than the old but not much. I would contribute that to the fact the Frigidaire units were "tanks" and these are a bit lighter in weight. Dries awesome. Each selection dries as it suggests

The noise that buzzes twice at the end of the cycle is excessively long and loud. There is no way to remove this buzzer without taking apart the machine. I doubt the volume level is even OSHA
approved, it's seriously loud.

This is a very straightforward appliance; the control dials and settings are easy to see and use. With our family it is an appliance that our teenagers can use without a call 'for assistance'. It has dried every load quickly and evenly. My wife and I like the loud buzzer so our teens know when their laundry is ready for folding!

We wanted a basic gas dryer, and this one is great. The only thing we didn't realize, and our only complaint, is that there is a button to turn off the loud buzz/beep when the cycles are complete. With it being on a main floor, and having babies sleeping, the finish buzz is very loud.

The only cycle that works on this dryer is more dry on the left-hand side. More dry on casuals you have to do it three times before it dries the clothes I would not recommend this dryer to anyone.

This dryer takes a very long time to dry. Also lint basket it extremely flimsy and does not slide back into place easily. Overall I am not pleased with this dryer. This was the only dryer which would fit through doorway other than Hotpoint. I chose GE over Hotpoint...May have made mistake

This is the only dryer available with a flat back to fit in my small space so I didn't have a choice. It's not energy efficient and the lint trap is terrible. It gets the job done, but when it's finished, the loud buzzer is sure to wake up everyone in the house.

The only thing complaint I have is I have you smaller loads in. If I put a big load in, it doesn't dry thoroughly even after 80 minutes. Also, there seems to be no way to turn the buzzer off. It disturbs my sweet old dog Jack that sleeps in the laundry room. Other than that it works well.

Our only objection to the dryer is the amount of time required to perform the drying function. For small/medium size loads, the dryer runs from 60 to 90 minutes.

This is a very simple dryer (I bought the gas model) with 1 dial for temperature control and 1 for time. There's very little noise insulation (as in zero) and the end of cycle buzzer is extremely annoying (which may be good or bad) so being able to isolate it in a separate room or garage is required. If I had the chance to do it again I'd move up one or two levels in the line to add some features. But to be completely honest it dries clothes which is all I really need.
