ice/water dispenser unpredictable . ice shoots out onto floor making a slippery mess. constantly have to watch to be sure someone doesn't slip on ice! water pitcher redundant , takes up valuable shelf space. small top freezer drawer difficult to see.

my original review exceeded avaible space.
in short:
do. not. buy. this. fridge.
1. icemaker is painfully slow & i'm told there's a pending class action related to its design.
2. "flex zone" drawer is a waste of space, materials and money.
3. in order to accommodate common elements such as a gallon of milk or a bottle of wine one has to flip existing shelves up or push them back.
the icemaker box inside the unit dominates the interior and flipping the shelf up reduces available, usable space within the unit by 20%.
4. and no, you can't offset this by simply adjusting shelves up or down- they're otherwise fused and fixed in place. i confirmed this on a call at length w/ the samsung help line.
posting this in the hopes that somebody from samsung will contact me to rectify this mess.

We purchased the Samsung 28 cu ft, 3 door, French Door, with built in auto-fill pitcher. I love this new refrigerator. Our biggest surprise is how much we like the auto-fill pitcher. Because the pitcher is part of the design of the refrigerator we have the convenience of a filtering water pitcher that takes up a minimal amount of space. We use the pitcher to fill our coffee maker's reservoir with filtered water almost daily. The auto-fill feature is a luxury we are really enjoying. After using a side by side refrigerator for years, I love the French Door, Freezer on the bottom design. I find that with this design both the refrigerator and the freezer feel much more spacious and allow for better organization. Using the full width of the unit, we can fit much larger items in the refrigerator. Over the holidays we prepared a large fruit, cheese, and charcuterie tray. We were able to cover the entire tray with cling wrap and place it on a shelf in the refrigerator. We could not have fit a tray half the size in our last side-by-side refrigerator. We have found the freezer to be convenient and easy to organize. It provides enough space to store many (more than 10) large bags and boxes of frozen goods upright, in the large bottom drawer, ensuring easy identification and retrieval. There is an additional top drawer that fits a ton of smaller items. I'm very impressed with the design of this refrigerator. Everything about it has been working great for us.

It was love at first sight with this refrigerator. From the adjustable shelves to the auto fill water pitcher to the fingerprint resistant stainless steel, this refrigerator is a great option for the whole family. The kids love the slide-out freezer drawers and easy access to their favorite snacks. I love that I
can open the refrigerator and see everything - no more food items spoiling that are hidden at the back of the shelf. Best of all, the French door and bottom drawer freezer lay-out makes this refrigerator and freezer so spacious - it is so much easier to keep everything organized! I would recommend this refrigerator to anyone looking for a new one.

Bye-bye side-by-side. I am enjoying and am very happy with my new (Beautiful) 28 cu. ft. Samsung 3-door French Door refrigerator with auto-fill pitcher. I wasn't sure how much use I would get out of the auto-fill pitcher, but I am a big fan of convenient options to encourage drinking lots of water without using single-use plastic bottles, so I purchased this model. We started using the pitcher as soon as the refrigerator was installed. We use it almost daily to fill our coffee maker reservoir with filtered water, as recommended. The pitcher provides a ready source of filtered water in a larger vessel, and I don't even have to fill it myself. The pitcher is also nicely integrated into the refrigerator design, taking a minimal amount of space. As a long time side-by-side refrigerator owner, I hesitated moving to the Freezer on the bottom model. I need not have worried. This freezer design works perfectly for us. The drawers are very spacious and well designed. I buy large bags of frozen veggies and large boxed items. The design allows me to place them all upright making items easy to find and easy to retrieve . Smaller items are stored in the upper shelf. I have plenty of room without stacking items on top of each other. My freezer has never been so organized! As for the French Door design, the 2 large humidity controlled produce drawers and the separate, full-width, deli drawer; so convenient. The Fridge on top French Door design keeps all of the refrigerator contents within easy view. No stooping over to look for items, nor to retrieve them from the appropriate place in the refrigerator. Ice and Water dispenser, is sleek and efficient and produces a constant supply of ice. Finally, a note about the fingerprint resistant, stainless-steel finish. It is really lovely and has remained finger-print free. As I was telling my friends. It is surprising how much joy a great fridge can bring to daily life :)

This refrigerator is fantastic. I give it a 5 out of 5 stars. Everything works as advertised, I would expect nothing less from Samsung. It's a good looking unit, simple on the outside, yet complex on the inside. It's a typical height for large units, it slid right into the the spot where we removed the old one under the cabinets. The refrigerator is super cold, we definitely noticed a difference in how long fruits and meats last. It's very evenly cooled, nothing freezes on the top or the back. The water line hookup was simple and doesn't leak. The autofill water pitcher is a nice addition that we use a lot. I can highly recommend the refrigerator to anyone looking for a new one. Can't go wrong with Samsung.

I bought this refrigerator a little over a month ago. We love it for the most part. There is a small issue with the ice maker coming unseated. I called and a technician is coming in a few days to look at it. Other than that it is great! We love the easily adjustable shelves and the ample storage.

This refrigerator is great with lots of space and beautiful!
The App is extremely useful to adjust/monitor the temperature, filter, energy, just mention a few. This is a very large unit and I have to remove the door in order to get it through.
Highly recommended for large families'

This fridge is pretty awesome! I love how the shelves flip, move and adjust to make room for large or odd shaped food. The stainless steel is really pretty and shiny! The see through drawers make it easier to find things. The freezer is a really nice size, so my frozen food has plenty of room. The features that are extra neat are the auto fill pitcher for water that you can put fruits/cucumbers to infuse the flavor of the water, and the "cool select" pantry is convenient for when you are hosting a party and need to keep appetizers chilled until people arrive- in a flat assembled fashion. Overall, I recommend this fridge, however there are a few things I wish were different; when the ice dumps into the holder it's a bit loud, and secondly I wish there was a measurement feature on the water dispenser.

At first, I thought a fridge is a fridge. I never thought about owning a french door fridge because I always had a side by side fridge. Having the freezer drawer down below is awesome. It is huge and easily took in everything from the old fridge and I still had room left over. I BBQ and smoke a lot of meats and there is no problem with the freezer holding several racks of pork ribs and briskets.
The upper section is the refrigerator part I was really impressed with how the shelves can be adjusted to make room for taller items. A great feature is the water pitcher inside the fridge on the door. This pitcher allows for the fruit to be used inside the fruit jail inside the pitcher.
If you are thinking about getting this refridgerator, do it. You won't be disappointed and you will love all the features.

This 3-Door refrigerator is great! I love the clean look of it. The only thing on the front is the water/ice dispenser and it doesn't have any extra buttons or notifications on it. The stainless steel really is fingerprint resistant so it always looks good. The best part is how much room there is inside. Our last fridge was the same size but I always had a hard time finding room for all of our groceries. That isn't a problem anymore, I can fit everything with room to spare. I think it is because a lot of thought went into the design and layout of the inside. The ice maker takes up minimal space while still making more ice than we need. Also the shelves can be moved around, slid in half or flipped up to make sure that everything fits. I like that all the controls are on the inside of the fridge and that they automatically lock. I don't have to worry about anyone accidently changing the temperature settings which has happened with other fridges. One of my family's favorite features is the AutoFill water pitcher. At first we thought it was cool because we would always have water ready to bring to the table for meals. Then we saw that we could add fresh lemons (or whatever we were in the mood for) for flavored water. What really made it great was when I saw in the manual that we could use it to make cold brew iced tea. That has become a favorite in our house! We also get a lot of use out of the CoolSelect Pantry. I like that I can change the temperature for that drawer depending on if I'm storing wine, deli items or beverages. The freezer has also been great. It's setup to make it easy to organize items and I find that nothing is getting lost in there. That was a big problem I've had with bottom freezers in the past. I'm really happy that we chose this Samsung refrigerator and I highly recommend it!
